About bloody time

Now that the Jag's back up and running, I'll return to my regularly scheduled ranting soon. Once I get some sleep. I spent all Sunday afternoon and most of the night reassembling everything and preparing for a test run. I decided to get the test-run done before trundling out the jack and jackstands to get back underneath and re-assemble the exhaust. The result was a nice, healthy roar out of the engine once she fired up. Of course, this was at 1AM, so between that and the spectacle of me dancing half-naked and smeared in grease in my driveway, the neighbors were none too pleased.

Bugger them. I've been working on this for weeks, I wasn't going to deny myself a little bit of jubilation at finishing a challenging piece of work with such success. I had figured that it would take a few days of troubleshooting and adjusting to start her up and run properly.
