Al Franken Says Libby, Bush, Rove should be executed for 'Treason'
Franken is too much of a caricature to be taken seriously, but he's always good for a chortle at how deranged he and the Lunatic Fringe of the Left really are.
"And so basically, what it looks like is going to happen is that Libby and Karl Rove are going to be executed” because “outing a CIA agent is treason,” left-wing author and radio talk show host Al Franken asserted Friday night, to audience laughter, on CBS’s Late Show with David Letterman. "
Followed by some obscure waffling about how he "opposes" the death penalty and doesn't realistically see it happening. Riiiight. If they were tied to the stake he'd be clamoring to be first in line with a torch to light the fire at their feet. Disingenuous fucker.

Said dumbass was on Today this morning running his mouth off with the same line. Matt Lauer was all smiles and laughs about it. A while back Lauer thought it was leading news that Robertson was talking about rubbing out Venezuela's Chavez, and he was in quite a huff. This time around, he laughs at the prospect of some of our country's leading political figures getting the ax. His indignation is incredibly one-sided. If he were any more transparent he'd be Michael Jackson.
