Terminal Leave

And There Was Much Rejoicing

Too tired for an at-length post. After yet another 18 hours of airline hell, I am finally home. Will round it up more coherently after a nap and a brew (or three).

are you now going to represent yourself with a symbol? or a cymbal?

so what's it like (and of course I'm being terribly presumptuous, but I think it's the only set of lyrics I know which contain your town's name), "to be stuck inside of Mobile, with the Memphis blues again"?

1) The symbol will be a backpack dropped by my feet (in my last few months all the higher-ups were warning me not to "drop my pack".

2) It's great here. I just wish everyone would quit whining about how hot they think it is. Downright chilly compared to Okinawa and to the desert heat of Pendleton last week. Nice to be home finally, the house-hunt begins tomorrow!

you mean Camp Pendleton, not Pendleton, Oregon, home of the famous woolen plaid shirts and blankets, right?

It is horribly hot and humid in LA, as I've whined about on my blog.

Glad you're glad to be home!
